My daughter (2 1/2 years) read her first word to me at 13 months and hasn't stopped reading since, everything from books, food packaging, signs, my handwritten notes and even reading over my shoulder as i type word documents. There is one down side to reading early I discovered, last week when we went to the local park, she read the graffiti to me!!!
